English Dub Review: Go! Go! Loser Ranger! “Fighter D, as a Part of “Ranger Force”

Overview:

Fighter D infiltrates the White Dragon’s Nest in disguise and discovers someone in hiding.

Our Take:

Where to start, where to start is the biggest question of this episode. Do I start with the female fighter that was hiding in Hibiki’s closet for some reason? What kind of relationship do they have based on a certain scene in this episode. Or should we start with the fact that Hibiki’s sister is the Pink Keeper? It doesn’t end there either, not only is she the Pink Keeper but she’s wheelchair bound so that tells me that her suit gives her more than just a cool look. Did I mention that she also seems to be a massive brocon? So, Fighter D has his work cut out for him trying to blend in seamlessly into Hibiki’s life.

This was right around the point I stopped reading the manga, not because it was getting bad but I was just looking for more romance coming off the author’s last work. But now that I “have” to review it I’m hoping for the best. It may not go down the romantic path I would like but there are a lot of interesting things happening currently and I can’t wait to see how D handles this mess.
