Overview:
His efforts in the cricket tournament having succeeded, Ciel now has an invitation to a tea party sponsored by Weston College’s absolute monarch: the Head Master.
Our Take(Spoilers):
So… good news, bad news. Good news is Ciel’s plan worked and they located Derrick and figured out what happened to the missing people. Bad news is they’re essentially zombies now because Derrick was killed by the prefects for a reason that is as of yet unclear. But it seems that he was up to some terrible things.
As for the “Head Master” he is someone that Ciel and Sebastian seem to know pretty well. The Undertaker was someone that consulted with Phantomhive’s family apparently. Though at some point in the series it seems he had a heel turn and became a villain, where it was revealed he was a grim reaper. I’m enjoying the supernatural aspects of this series so far, I didn’t realize that Sebastian was a demon until recently and with this reveal I’m hoping we get a grim reaper versus demon matchup.
What’s more intriguing to me is exactly what the prefects caught Derrick doing that would lead them to murder as the best course of action. The scene at the end of the episode hinted to some pretty awful things, but we will have to wait.
