Netflix Announces Orders For Minecraft And The Undervale Animated Series
Netflix has announced pickups for two new animated series that you can learn more about below. Certainly helps make up for the extremely light June 2024 schedule coming down the pike.
Netflix has greenlit the adult animated comedy series created by Matt Roller (Archer, Rick and Morty) called The Undervale, about a single mother of two who struggles to run a hotel that happens to be haunted. Luckily, she has some help from her estranged brother … who is now one of the ghosts and thinks his fellow phantoms have some pretty good ideas. The series seemingly had a bidding war and was eventually won out by Netflix with a straight-to-series order. Other Rick and Morty alumnus part of the series include Steve Levy, Erica Hayes,and Dan Harmon.
Netflix has ordered a new animated series from WildBrain Studios inspired by Minecraft. The series will be a CG-produced effort with entirely new characters, storylines, and more.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
