Our Take

This time around, the emergence of the Nibeelcole (pseudo spirits) has sparked significant turmoil, posing a considerable challenge for everyone involved. However, all the Spirits fly into the aerial battlefield, including Kurumi. Surprisingly, Yoshino also demonstrates her capability to kick some ass. And Despite the gravity of the situation, Shido’s unreserved use of his powers, culminating in the defeat of Nibeelcole, provided a moment of levity amid the intensity of battle.Of course, the battle starts to take a serious turn upon Kurumi’s arrival, dispelling any doubts about its significance. Meanwhile, Origami’s confrontation with Artemisia and the AST’s dilemma underscored the complexity of the situation, setting the stage for a protracted conflict between opposing factions…Overall, despite some shortcomings in the CGI animation, the episode delivered on story and character development, with Shido’s unconventional fighting style taking center stage. With the conflict escalating and alliances being tested, the stage is set for a harrowing struggle between various factions at war in the skies. As the battle rages on, revelations about Shido’s unique abilities and the true nature of the spirits promise to add further layers of intrigue to an already tense situation, and the cliffhanger ending raising more questions than answers…
