I’m not crazy about this source due to the fact when you notice the original poster going deeper into the comments and incorrectly spelling Seth Rogen’s name which has me thinking we’re getting a bot account, but CanWeGetToast is reporting that Seth Rogen is in development of an R-rated Venom animated film for Sony Pictures Animation.
It should be noted that of all the major producers of feature animation, Sony Pictures Animation is one of the few building out a slate of adult animated film projects with the studio working on projects such as an R-rated comedy from Genndy Tartakovsky titled Fixed and Sony Pictures Releasing having released Rogen’s R-rated animated comedy Sausage Party which is currently being adapted to a television series for Prime Video slated to release later this year.
Again, the source is questionable at best which is why we’re listing it as a rumor, but if this were to happen we’d be thrilled.
