Shinji Aoba has been sentenced to death after he deliberately set fire to a three-story animation studio in the Japanese city of Kyoto in 2019, killing 36 people. Shinji’s reasoning was that he felt his submitted works had been plagiarized for use in content that was produced, however, no proof has been revealed to back up his claims.

The typical method that Japan uses for a death sentence? Typically they lead you into a small room, tie a rope around your neck, two guys hit a switch that removes the floor below the prisoner, and then that prisoner is hanged until he is dead.
