Pharrell Williams Teams With Focus Features For Biopic About His Life Produced In LEGO

Focus Features has announced that they are releasing a new biopic inspired by Pharrell Williams on October 11th of this. Yes, the movie is being produced by LEGO, but not in the way you may imagine.

I am expecting this to be a slightly older-skewing LEGO movie due to the fact that if it was a movie made for kids, LEGO would be all over the branding. Instead, Focus Features is producing the Pharrell biopic entitled Piece By Piece that will be directed by Morgan Neville and will be a stop-motion animated feature done entirely in LEGO.The original concept of the movie began development five years ago, so the producers have had a while to put the thing together. Moreover, Pharrell has had some not rated-G moments in his life, including the shooting death of his cousin in 2021 by a police officer. So this one could be one to watch for.
