IFC Films’ STOPMOTION Trailer Is What Happens When You Work Too Long In The Animation Industry
Chances are if you are one of the millions of visitors a month we get here, you probably have something to do with a stop-motion animated series or movie or anything in between. Well, IFC Films has the film for you because it’s all about a stop-motion animator that goes nuts.
Ella Blake is a stop-motion animator who is struggling to control her demons after the loss of her overbearing mother. Suddenly alone in the world, she embarks upon the creation of a macabre new puppet film, which soon becomes the battleground for her sanity. As Ella’s mind starts to fracture, the characters in her animated film take on a terrifying life of their own, and the unleashed power of her imagination threatens to destroy her.
STOPMOTION is set to hit theaters on February 23 before it makes its way to Shudder on May 31.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
