Overview:

Just when it seems Will’s fate is sealed, Stagnate appears and resurrects the former residents of the Iron Country. Gracefeel transfers their souls into Will, giving him the courage to face Valacirca again. Will’s epic battle reaches its climax…

Our Take:

I have to admit that the climax of the fight with the dragon was a little bit disappointing. It felt like the last three or four episodes were all leading to a giant climactic fight and then it just ended… talk about a letdown. What came afterwards was pretty cool but the fight left a bad taste in my mouth.

What came after leaves a lot of hope and intriguing aspects that could be explored and I’ve found a few things saying there will be a third season but the sources aren’t the best. So what this means is I feel like I have to look at this like it will be the last we see of this paladin. If that’s to be the case then that will be disappointing.

Having a couple of goddesses fall in love with you while also gaining the strength of a dragon has to be pretty awesome and that is just a few of the things I would love to see explored. But as it stands right now this series ended on a whimper as opposed to the dragon’s roar that was teased.
