Report: Netflix’s Good Times Animated Series Time Frame
We now know that Netflix’s animated series adaptation of Good Times from Norman Lear, Seth MacFarlane, Steph Curry, and Carl Jones is coming to Netflix sometime during Summer 2024. Unfortunately, the only reason we discovered this is because of the recent passing of Good Times creator Norman Lear who passed away earlier today at the age of 101.
Fortunately, the good thing about animation, is that once you record…you live forever. And in the case of Norman Lear, Deadline is reporting that Norman has actually recorded a cameo for the upcoming series so we’re going to see his amazing contributions again down the road.
The Sony Pictures-produced series will follow the Evans family in the present day as they navigate today’s world and contemporary social issues.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
