Netflix has debuted a new trailer for a brand-new animated sci-fi mini-series called Carol & The End of the World from creator Dan Guterman. The series is being produced by Bardel Entertainment and features an exciting cast that includes Martha Kelly, Mel Rodriguez, and others in a tale that sees a mysterious planet hurtling towards Earth, extinction is imminent for the people of the world. While most feel liberated to pursue their wildest dreams, one quiet and always uncomfortable woman stands alone — lost among the hedonistic masses.
Adult animation has its fair share of post-apocalyptic series, but not very many pre-apocalyptic series which makes me very excited for this one. Not to mention Dan Guterman is a dark comedy sauvant having made stops at The Onion, The Colbert Report, and Rick and Morty.
