English Dub Review: Management of a Novice Alchemist “Let’s Settle Things With Money!”

Overview:

Iris’ father and Kate’s mother stop by for a very specific reason, but Sarasa isn’t convinced they’re telling Iris the whole story. Meanwhile, Elyn has a request for Sarasa.

Our Take:

I went through so many different emotions within the first ten minutes of this episode that I think I might still be processing this. Iris’ father has a lot of debt but they managed to find someone who would help them with it and he is the head of a company. All that he asked for in return was to marry Iris, which she was willing to do until Sarasa asked which company he was a part of. Turns out he was a part of the Dilly company which you might recall was up to no good just a couple of episodes ago, so suffice it to say the marriage has been put on hold.

While that was a bit disappointing because the romance fan in me wanted to see some since he sounds like a garbage person anyway it’s probably for the best. What isn’t for the best is the giant dormant volcano that looks like it might be erupting or maybe it’s just the giant salamander they’ll need to fight, either way tune in next week for something big.
