English Dub Review: Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation “All

Overview:

Ariel confronts Sylphiette with a choice: reveal herself to Rudeus or cut ties with him forever. Determined on one last push to jog Rudeus’s memory, Sylphiette invites him on a forest expedition.

Our Take:

He did it, folks! Our boy figured it out! He put two and two together and figured out that Silent Fitz and Sylphiette are one and the same. Though I have to say that Ariel is kind of shitty for giving her an ultimatum like that. I think she knew what Sylphie would ultimately choose but still, asking someone to cut someone they care about out of their life. Ultimately I think she just wanted to give her friend the push she needed to make a choice for herself for once.

All of the stars have aligned for Rudeus to solve his problem. Not only is he attracted to Fitz, but she’s a girl, and not only is she a girl but she’s his childhood friend whom he had a crush on in the first place. Something tells me we are going to see Rudeus completely cured in the next few episodes. I just hope we get to see something of Eris, even if it’s just a side-story episode like the end of season one.
