English Dub Review: Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation “The Kidnapping and Confinement of Beast Girls”

Overview:

When Rudeus discovers that two of his new schoolmates have destroyed one of his precious figures, he swears revenge. But while he may be able to trounce schoolgirls in a fight, figuring out what to do with them next won’t be easy.

Our Take:

It was cool to see how powerful Rudeus has become, but not in an overpowered way. It’s more like he just has so much experience that he knows how to act in battle. It also helps that he has an eye that shows him a brief glimpse into the future but that only helps if you know how to react. I know I keep preaching about how amazing Studio Bind is but when they put out animation like this it kind of speaks for itself.

One of the beast girls, Linia Dedoldia, is the niece of Ghislaine and the daughter of the chief. I love it when things start to connect in the grand scheme. Not only that but Linia is voiced by the amazingly talented Alexis Tipton. Having her voice as a cat girl was not something I knew I needed in my life but now that it’s here I wonder how I ever lived without it.
