Our Take:

This episode picks up right where the previous one left off and it does not go in the direction I was expecting whatsoever. A guy who looks questionable at first actually turns out to be a decent person. Li-Li’s home life is also very different than I imagined. In fact, this can be a hard episode to watch once the dinner scene starts.

We meet Li-Li’s father and the brother that had been previously mentioned. We still exactly see how her mother was killed, but it seems like the story is different now than it was previously. Cheng has changed the past before, so I wouldn’t surprised if he does so yet again.

This is an episode that can be hard to watch, but it’s also one that keeps you engaged. It takes so many twists and turns that you have to keep paying attention in order to see where it’s going to go next. This story is getting a lot more interesting. While we still don’t have all the answers, we get a lot of details that make this arc much more compelling.
