Prime Video: Quick Updates On “Invincible” And “Sausage Party”

Multiverse is all the rage nowadays for comic book franchises. Whether it’s the MCU, the DCEU, the Sony MCU, and others, everyone just loves the idea that there are different dimensions that have different characters and actors playing those roles. Unlike the comics where it was more fun to see different alterations of say Spider-Man, MCU instead brings back all of the live-action Spider-Man actors in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Most recently, WB Discovery released a bomb in the form of The Flash which attempted to do the same thing with the likes of Batman.

Welp, add in Image Comics’ Robert Kirkman who is teasing the animated introduction of Angstrom Levy for the upcoming second season of Invincible coming soon to Prime Video. In a new interview with InverseKirkman says Levy will be introduced and brings with him a whole host of the multiverse. That said, don’t expect a straight translation of the character from the comics to the animated spectrum, instead Kirkman promises a “unique flavor of what we’re doing”.

INVINCIBLE is an adult animated superhero series that revolves around 17-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age — except his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man. But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.

Seth Rogen is teasing a “shocking” scene in the upcoming series, Sausage Party: Foodtopia series inspired by the film of the same name. Seth Rogen tells Empire that the sequel series to the R-rated feature-length film had a screening for people at Prime Video and even with a franchise that has already featured a food orgy, evidently there is scenes in this upcoming series that is going to rival even that. Not much else is known except for the fact that the series will feature all of your favorite returning characters from the film with Seth Rogen, Edward Norton, Michael Cera, and Kristen Wiig reprising their roles.
