FOX’s HouseBroken Season Two Return Date Announced
It has been a wild and rocky road trying to keep track of the premieres for season two of FOX’s HouseBroken and it hasn’t helped the ratings of the show which as of last weekend’s premieres are down 50% whence compared to the show’s second season premiere back in December 2022. To be fair, the series wasn’t originally supposed to return with new episodes until June 4th, but two new episodes premiered out of nowhere over Memorial Day Weekend after a NASCAR cancellation, and then after last week’s premieres, another new episode quickly showed up then disappeared on both Hulu and FOX.com entitled “Who’s Afraid of Boomsday Again?” which is actually another season three produced (there have been five so far) episode sprinkled in amongst a litany of season two episodes.
Originally announced to return on June 25th for double episode premieres that would take us through the summer 2023 season, FOX has announced that HouseBroken will instead return on July 9th with double episode premieres airing weekly on FOX starting at 9 pm ET/PT, check your local listings. The show is a vast upgrade on any NASCAR weekend, so I’m happy to see that the network is continuing to air SOMETHING new on Sunday nights instead of just same ol’ reruns of The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, and Family Guy, all shows that have numerous reruns that air on FX and Adult Swim respectively. What the actual future of this franchise on FOX is going to be is anyone’s guess, but it doesn’t look good.
Just cancel this bird already. The chicken is beyond cooked. It's burnt to a crisp.
