English Dub Review: Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear “Bear, Surprising All”
Overview:
A villager comes running to tell the village chief that they are being attacked by goblins. Maricks and the others offer to help to save the villagers. However, they soon find out that they may have bitten off more than they could chew.
Our Take:
Say what you will about this anime but I love bear puns and the fact that it affords me the opportunity to make a bunch of them I will forever have a soft spot for it. It does help that the anime is also decent, nothing too special but decent. It’s like a cozy isekai where it does seem like too many bad things will happen. Yuna shot a fireball down a tiger’s throat and its stomach just expanded like a cartoon and that was about it. So, if you’re looking for something a bit more adult this might not be the one for you.
However, if you just want to turn your brain off and enjoy some fun and chill isekai action and you happen to love bears then have I got a show for you. I don’t see this winning any anime of the year awards but they don’t all have to and to be honest you could do a lot worse than Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
