Star Wars Celebration: Tales Of The Jedi And The Bad Batch Both Get Renewed ; Visions Volume 2 Trailer Released

First up, our favorite sketch/anthology series of 2022, Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi has been confirmed for a second season by producer Dave Filoni. Each episode of Tales of the Jedi tells a short story featuring Jedi from the Star Wars prequel trilogy era. The six episodes featured in the series’ first season are split into two “paths”: the first following Ahsoka Tano across various points in her life, and the other depicting a young Count Dooku before his fall to the dark side of the Force. The animation style resembles closely to past Star Wars animated series The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels.

Next, Star Wars: The Bad Batch has been renewed for a third and final season only a few short weeks after the show’s second season has wrapped on Disney+. The third season will be released in 2024 and will continue to follow the adventures of Clone Force 99 during the time of The Clone Wars as the genetically mutated storm troopers continue to act as mercenaries due to the fact that they are able to ignore Palpatine’s Order 66 initiative and also ensure their survival as the Imperial forces introduce humans replacing clones as part of their ever-increasing armed forces.

Last, but not least, a second season trailer for Star Wars: Visions has been released featuring nine new shorts from nine celebrated animation studios from across the globe. The new season will drop on May 4th for Disney+.
