English Dub Review: Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun “Lead’s Distress”

OverviewIruma is safely reunited with Lead. But apparently, Lead had the Vase of Endings he had successfully obtained, only to be stolen by Elizabetta. However, it appears as though the one who took the vase was not Elizabetta, but someone else…Our Take Lead lost to Elizabetta again, but that was an illusion, so it’s heavily implied that the vase is now in the hands of Orobas, who may just be the final boss of this story. Lead then used his powers and, wow, did not expect that much fan service in this show, and we got that. It’s also here where we learn about Lead’s powers and how they operate, even if it’s handled comedically. The Agares Castle is now the next target of Queen Keroli’s plans, but Agares, Garp, and everyone else will defend it with all they got. I personally found it funny how the students got too comfortable there that they would defend it with their lives. Agares couldn’t do a thing, and those students made the castle their home, and chaos begins to ensue. Overall, we’ve now reached 14 episodes where it has just been the harvest festival race. I’m starting to get annoyed at how slow-paced these 3 days are going. I can’t understand why Iruma’s own class seems to attack each other. They all need to reach rank Daleth Rank, or else they won’t be able to keep the Royal classroom. So, sabotaging their classmates seems counter-productive, and feels like the writer is breaking his own rules. And finally, Who even is this Orobas dude? Did I miss something crucial about him? What’s his motivation? Hopefully, we’ll find out in later episodes…
