English Dub Review: The Daily Life of the Immortal King “Boss of Shadow Faction”
Overview:
Wang Ling is “recovering” while attacked a second time. Sun Rong gains another admirer but he moves on quickly to the boss of Shadow Faction?
Our Take:
Wang Ling clearly has zero interest in this competition but that doesn’t mean he wants to watch his friends get hurt. He manages to nullify a high-level spell that was going to seriously harm one of his friends. But as we know, nothing is too difficult for Wang Ling and it even surprises the delinquent who attacked, He Bufeng. Bufeng doesn’t take long moving on from Sun Rong and goes after another lady.
Unfortunately for him she seems to be the leader of Shadow Faction and defeats him easily. Wang happens to catch the tail end of this and that is where our episode ends. I’m not too worried for him based on previous experience but she does seem tough. Once again this show is over in a flash, I really wish they were normal length. You wouldn’t think that a couple of minutes would really make a difference but it feels like it does. I am looking forward to what Wang does next.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
