English Dub Review: Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These “War Without Weapons”
Overview:
When the massive Geiersburg Fortress suddenly materializes in the Iserlohn Corridor, Caselnes immediately forwards a request for reinforcements to Heinessen, but now he must prepare for the imminent Imperial attack. Meanwhile, in Heinessen, Frederica is desperately looking for allies to save Yang.
Our Take:
Now with a headline like that, I’m sure you think I hated this episode but I am still enjoying it. It’s just that this battle was supposedly about to start about three episodes ago. So I definitely think that it will be a season finale type of thing.
Does anyone else ship Yang and Frederica? I definitely do. She did everything in her power to get Yang out of his situation. There is clearly a strong bond between those two and I think they would be good together.
As for the council issue, it seems that hundreds of years in the future we are still having problems with politicians. Yang was prepared to resign but of course, Iserlohn is being attacked and they need their best general. Yang calling the council “parasites” was the best diss towards them, I kind of do hope they win the battle so he can put the screws to them.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
