Netflix News: Farzar, Anime, And Masters of the Universe

Netflix’s Geeked Week is coming soon with full days dedicated to adult animation announcements, but the streamer didn’t want to wait any longer to reveal some key pieces of information for the upcoming slate. Here are some quick bits of info about upcoming series.

Netflix has announced a July 29th premiere date for Detective Conan: Zero’s Tea Time. It is produced by TMS Entertainment and directed by Tomochi Kosaka, with scripts written by Yoshiko Nakamura, character designs handled by Kyōko Yoshimi, and music composed by Tomisiro. Six episodes are on the way.

Mark Hamill is teasing the fact that he recently recorded lines for “Skeletor”. The Mark Hamill take on the character was featured as part of Kevin Smith’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation series which had it’s first season run last year. Mark notes that he spent a whole day voicing the character which hopefully means a bunch more of Masters of the Universe: Revelation coming in the near future.

Synopsis:

The war for Eternia begins again in what may be the final battle between He-Man and Skeletor.

Farzar has ten episodes on the way for a new show from the creators of Brickleberry and Paradise PD. The series is being produced by Bento Box Entertainment and features the following voice cast:

Lance Reddick, Dana Snyder, David Kaye, Jerry Minor, Kari Wahlgren, Grey Griffin, and Carlos Alazraqui.

Synopsis:

Farzar is an outrageous sci-fi comedy that follows Prince Fichael and his crew as they venture out of their domed human city to fight the evil aliens that want to kill and/or eat them. As they begin their journey, Fichael quickly discovers that all is not what it seems and he may be living a lie.
