English Dub Review: Tomodachi Game “Yuichi-kun, You’re Pretty Dumb, Aren’t You?”

Overview:

Shibe reels from the accusation that he has “actually killed a person.” Despite protesting that he never did such a thing, he loses the audience’s confidence and is thrust into first place. Meanwhile, Tenji finds himself in a distressing situation after realizing Yuichi is the one who wrote the card. Yuichi then makes the shocking announcement that he knows who the traitor is.

Our Take:

I love all the mind games going on and I want more! I thought this would be the episode we would see how Yuichi knew this whole time. Assuming he actually did know and isn’t still bluffing. I swear Yuichi is out here playing that 4-D chess.

So far this is still in my good pile of survival game anime. Though I will completely admit to my bias with really loving these styles of anime. But you have to admit that the psychological warfare used here is super intriguing. Yuichi had to figure something out and now we just have to wait an agonizing week to find out how he did it. But what will this mean for the rest of the series? With the traitor already found out how will it stay interesting? I guess we will all find out together.
