Overview:
After clearing Bad-Mouth Sugoroku, Yuichi and Tenji find themselves trapped in a dark cave for three days. During their isolation, Tenji makes the shocking revelation that he had already experienced a Tomodachi Game in the past. Meanwhile, a team of new opponents lies in wait outside, anxious to challenge the two partners to a grueling third game.
Our Take:
It takes a bit of setup for a new game so I think this episode being a bit weaker is to be expected. But there are a lot of intriguing aspects to this new game so I am excited. I do hope that what Tenji said about Shiho is wrong because I want to like her but if it’s one thing I’ve learned about survival games like this it’s that no one can really be trusted. Everyone will have some sort of messed-up side that makes it seem like they will betray you.
Yuichi and Tenji working together for hide-and-seek is going to be good but I also have a few other things to look forward to. For one I think the other team has some interesting people and I could see one or two of them switching sides. There is also a girl who made it here all on her own so she’s probably pretty devious. We will find out in next week’s episode because she didn’t get much of an introduction in this one.
