English Dub Review: Tomodachi Game “I Really Can’t Be Friends with a “Murderer””

Overview:

Backed into a corner by Yuichi’s plan, Tenji is forced to confess that he applied to play Tomodachi Game. Yuichi spells out the traps he set to smoke out the traitor and reveals that he had been manipulating the game from the start. The second game then reaches a breathtakingly unexpected conclusion.

Our Take:

This review might be a little short because I want to give people time to process what happened and actually watch the episode before I spoil it. Mainly, because it is going to take me talking about spoilers to convey exactly why this episode was so awesome and why I am now in love with this anime.

Yuichi revealed his hand and how he figured everything out. The traps were pretty cool and ingenious. But that is nothing compared to the bombshells that were dropped in the last five minutes of the episode. I am not going to say this week what they were but definitely watch this episode so you can see the craziness. I can see why a lot of dub watchers say it was last episode and this episode that made them switch to the sub to get ahead. But David Matranga is just so good it’s hard to imagine someone else as Yuichi. I’ll see you guys next week when I can tell you everything that happened and hopefully have another awesome episode to talk about.
