English Dub Review: Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon “The Collapse of the Windmill of Time”
Overview:
To destroy the Grim Comet, Towa, Moroha, and Setsuna must travel through the Windmill of Time, but Meidomaru stands in their way.
Our Take:
The best thing about this episode? Moroha had an awesome badass moment. She got to use her sister’s bow and it was awesome. It wasn’t the final blow or anything but it was still a nice spectacle. One of the interesting things we learned is that the more Towa uses her sword the more likely Rion might take over her body. No one thinks that Rion knew of this curse on the sword but it doesn’t look good. It was another trick by Kirinmaru of course.
It looks like for the next episode we will be going back to Reiwa Era Japan. I kind of like the modern-day stuff more anyway so I am looking forward to that. My only problem is I don’t see how Hisui can follow them and you all know how I feel about Hisui. One of the main things I love about this show is how much it reminds me of early 2000s anime. It just hits all the right notes.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
