English Dub Review: Sasaki and Miyano “Limit”
Overview:
Sasaki becomes less and less able to hide his feelings. Ogasawara gets fujoshi help from a fudanshi. Miyano continues to question his relationship with Sasaki.
Our Take:
We finally get some Miyano character development! It was pretty good and there were some surprises too. He has caught on to the fact that Sasaki likes him in a romantic way but he’s into girls. Or thinks he is at the very least, which adds a pretty interesting wrinkle to the story.
Now I am really interested to see how this plays out because while Sasaki is coming to terms with his sexuality, Miyano is completely oblivious to his. If the genre and tropes are to be believed at the very least. I really like that we got some insight into Miyano but I still like Sasaki more.
Kellen Goff does such a great job of voicing Sasaki. I love the little inflections and pauses he adds. It creates a lot of depth for the character just from the voice alone.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
