English Dub Review: Restaurant to Another World “Teriyaki Burger/ Chocolate Parfait Again”

Overview:

Tatsugoro rescues Jack and his friends and treats them to a meal. Demon Lord Lastina unexpectedly discovers Nekoya for herself.

Our Take:

One question I have about the restaurant Nekoya is do people pay? I haven’t seen a single customer pay but it was at least mentioned in this episode still I wonder if they just give the food for free. It’s a magic restaurant so who knows?

Tatsugoro rescued some kids and not only does he show them how to get to Nekoya but also “treats” them?! What a nice guy. They had two of the teriyaki burgers, one like normal and one where the buns were replaced with rice. I’ve never tried a burger like that but it looks really good and I might have to sometimes.

As much as Demon Lord’s are mentioned in anime and manga it was kind of cool to see one represented this way. Lastina was just doing administrative tasks and when she needed a break the door to Nekoya appeared. I wish something like that would happen to me when I need a break. Plus the food there looks amazing.
