English Dub Review: Heaven Official’s Blessing “Special Episode”

Xie and Hua discuss how they met and where they might go.
Our Take:
I was really expecting nothing but a recap but we actually got some sweet moments between Xie and Hua. It is a little sad that most of the romance stuff people were probably looking forward to were relegated to the final episode.
Heaven Official’s Blessing was renewed for a second season so I wonder how long it will take them to dub when it eventually comes out. This came out in the fall of 2020 and wasn’t dubbed until the fall of 2021 so it might be a bit. I didn’t expect to like this show as much as I did so I hope the wait isn’t too long.
I will definitely go into more detail with the season review. This show was the first donghua to be dubbed and I really hope it sets a precedent. With Funimation acquiring more of them and being willing to dub them I am hopeful we will see more in the future.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
