The Funniest Animated Series On Netflix Might Not Even Be On Netflix
Netflix’s Inside Job is on an inside track to being one of the best animated series of 2021, and the streamer has shown a year of pure dominance for adult animation whether it be for comedy, drama, international, and anything in between. But, it might be another Netflix animated series just might be the streamer’s funniest, only it’s not on the actual streaming service, but rather the network’s YouTube channel.
The series is called Written Entirely By Bots, and it’s a shorts series with episodes five minutes and under and it features different movies from all different genres being written entirely by bots. So far, Netflix has released shorts inspired by horror, stoner, stand-up comedy, holiday, and romantic comedies. The idea is I guess if bots can write the entirety of Twitter, why couldn’t they be used to write everything else?
Netflix teamed up with Keaton Patti to produce these videos and I hope they do a bunch more and maybe even longer-featured content. I’d love to see a Robot Chicken-like series or something to that effect.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
