Disney Orders Second Season Of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch”

Disney+ has announced a 2022 start for the second season of Star Wars: The Batch. The news comes off more recent news that Disney is launching a studio in Vancouver, Canada to go along with expanded operations in Los Angeles to help support additional MCU series like Marvel What If? along with other Disney original series and films. The two part season finale of Star Wars: The Bad Batch kicks off on Friday and wraps up on the 13th of August.

Synopsis:

“Star Wars: The Bad Batch” follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch—a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army—each possess a singular exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.
