Watch: Homer Simpson Takes On Conan’s Exit Interview On Final Show With TBS

The legendary Conan O’Brien wrapped the final of his late-night shows this week in what has been a smorgasbord of special guests to help send-off the Conan on TBS franchise into oblivion. To help, David Silverman directed this new short from The Simpsons featuring Homer Simpson giving Conan an exit interview from the network that he has called home for 11 years. Among the topics, Homer’s time working as a monorail conductor which of course is a nod to Conan’s time on The Simpsons where he wrote “Marge vs the Monorail”, highly regarded as one of the best episodes of The Simpsons of all time and certainly Conan’s favorite episode as he attempts to defend it here.

This is good because new episodes of The Simpsons don’t return until Fall 2021, and after 30+ seasons, can certainly attest to a long-running career the likes of which Conan can empathize with. Furthermore, Conan has always features personalities from The Simpsons over the years having the likes of Hank Azaria, Dan Castellaneta, Al Jean, and a slew of other personalities over the years all from the longest-running animated franchise in history. Add in the fact that he’s had other adult animation personalities on like Seth MacFarlane, Matt Stone/Trey Parker, Nick Kroll, Will Arnett, Jon Benjamin, and then consider that he’s been animated as an Archer character, a South Park character, a character on The Simpsons, and more, Conan has done a lot for this industry.

Love, Conan.
