Netflix Announces Voice Casts For “Inside Job” , “Human Resources”, And “The House”

Netflix is continuing with it’s onslaught of adult animation. Last week it was the international content with a bit more focus on the action genre. This week’s it’s homegrown comedy, though the network wants to set up additional funding of Canadian original animation along with additional funding of women-produced animation. That said, at Annecy 2021 the biggest streamer in the world is continuing it’s trek and has furthermore announced voice casts for three previously announced series, Human Resources, The House, and Inside Job. No premiere dates yet, but hopefully, we’re getting some sooner rather than later.

Inside Job: Netflix also announced the series regulars for our highly-anticipated animated series, Inside Job as part of creator / showrunner Shion Takeuchi (Gravity Falls) and executive producer Alex Hirsch’s (Gravity Falls) sneak peek during the festival. Inside Job is the first project from Takeuchi’s deal and the first adult animation series created in-house by Netflix Animation Studios.

Inside Job is an adult animated comedy about the shadow government – and the dysfunctional team whose daily grind is committing the world’s conspiracies. From convoluted coverups to secret societies to masked orgy etiquette, navigating office culture at Cognito Inc. can be tricky, especially for anti-social tech genius Reagan Ridley. Even in a workplace filled with reptilian shapeshifters and psychic mushrooms, she’s seen as the odd one out for believing the world could be a better place. Reagan thinks she can make a difference, if only she could manage her unhinged, manifesto-writing father and her irresponsible coworkers, to finally snag the promotion she’s been dreaming about.

Cast: Lizzy Caplan is Reagan Ridley, Cognito Inc.’s antisocial tech genius; Christian Slater is Rand Ridley, Reagan’s father, and disgraced head of Cognito Inc.; Clark Duke is Brett Hand, a lovable D.C. yes-dude; Andrew Daly is J.R. Scheimpough, CEO of Cognito; Bobby Lee plays Dr. Andre, a free-spirited biochemist; John DiMaggio is Glenn Dolphman, a half-man, half-dolphin; Tisha Campbell plays Gigi, Cognito’s fast-talking Head of Media Manipulation and Subliminal Messages; and Brett Gelman is Magic Myc, a psychic subterranean mushroom creature from a hive mind deep within Hollow Earth.

Human Resources: From the inventive minds behind Big Mouth comes the even edgier and adult-ier Human Resources. The spinoff pulls back the curtain on the daily lives of the creatures – Hormone Monsters, Depression Kitties, Shame Wizards and many more – that help humans journey through every aspect of life from puberty to childbirth to the twilight years. It quickly becomes clear that though the creatures are the protagonists, they have a lot of humanity themselves. The series is co-created and executive produced by Kelly Galuska, Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Jennifer Flackett and Mark Levin. Human Resources is produced by Brutus Pink and Titmouse, Inc.

Cast: Nick Kroll as “Maury the Hormone Monster,” Maya Rudolph as “Connie the Hormone Monstress,” and David Thewlis as “The Shame Wizard,” are joined by Aidy BryantBrandon Kyle GoodmanKeke Palmer, and Randall Park.
