Adult Swim News: “Rick and Morty” ; Toonami Schedule Change

A slight schedule change for the March 6th episode of Attack on Titan for Toonami, expect a rerun of the episode “Assassin’s Bullet” instead of “Brave Volunteers” due to the winter storms in Texas causing production delays to the English dubbed adaptation of the Funimation series. We don’t know how temporary this delay is just yet, so we’ll update when we know more. Also of note, Food Wars Season Three has it’s broadcast TV premiere February 27th for which you can see a trailer below.

Synopsis:

It’s been four years since the Scout Regiment reached the shoreline, and the world looks different now. Things are heating up as the fate of the Scout Regiment—and the people of Paradis—are determined at last. However, Eren is missing. Will he reappear before age-old tensions between Marleyans and Eldians result in the war of all wars?

The internet is going crazy about Rick and Morty writer being silly about the show’s seventh season, a note that Dan Harmon also brought up in the fall at the Adult Swim Festival. I can tell you that multiple seasons are under different levels of production status, but producers Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan are out and about talking up Solar Opposites which just went international on Disney Star while co-creator Dan Harmon has a new series on the way for FOX.

As for Rick and Morty, not much else is known about season seven, but season five is reportedly going to be going “canon crazy” according to producer Scott Marder. Just know, it’s coming.

Synopsis:

Rick moves in with his daughter’s family and establishes himself as a bad influence on his grandson, Morty.
