Watch: SNL Imagines “Middle-Aged Mutant Ninja Turtles”

With SNL doing work-from-home skits, I’m actually rooting for more animated sketches for a show that has an amazing history with the medium. Who can forget TV Funhouse and the crazy shit derived which included likes of Ambiguously Gay Duo (the Adam Schlesinger-produced theme song still rings in my head every so often), X-Presidents, or the numerous Christmas parodies that would be the DNA of Moral Orel?

Ironically enough, I was watching a documentary on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as this aired and to this day wonder what would happen if we got to see the turtles all grown-up. Welp, SNL teamed up with Low Brow Studios and did it for me which sees an animated short that finds Donnie visiting doctors, Mikey having marital issues, Raph needing cash, and Leo taking his kids to school. Enjoy!
