Quibi: All Of The Announced Animated Series…So Far

 

Quibi has officially launched, and while no original animated series have premiered yet, the short-form streaming service has a $1 billion in content spend that they’ve used to team up with some of the best producers in the world. Check out what to look forward to below.

 

Your Daily Horoscope

Executive produced by Will Arnett and his company Electric Avenue, as well as Tom Werner, Your Daily Horoscope is a collaboration between Quibi and ATTN. The series combines astrology, humor and adult animation into a daily offering that will deliver personalized horoscopes.


Micro Mayhem

Quibi announced the greenlight of ‘MICRO MAYHEM’, an epic, stop-motion animation series by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios and eOne. Created and executive produced by Eric Towner (“Robot Chicken”), ‘MICRO MAYHEM’ is a series of over-the-top shorts where the cars are the characters. Executive producers for the series are Jon Favreau’s Golem Creations, Seth Green, John Harvatine IV, Matthew Senreich and Chris Waters. 

Inspired by the original Micro Mayhem viral short created by Towner and John Harvatine IV, the cars set the stage with an immense amount of attitude and personality in this dialogue-free grindhouse action series. Each of the short-form episodes will be self-contained. 

 


Gloop World

Gloop World is a clay-based stop-motion series that centers on two anthropomorphic blobs, roommates Bob Roundy and Funzy. The series will follow the absurd, strangely relatable adventures of the pair around the malleable, clay-mated suburbia and outskirts of the title location. The series is created by Justin Roiland  and being produced and directed by John Harvatine IV and Eric Towner from Stoopid Buddy Stoodios.


Trill League

Trill League features a roster of black superheroes who have to save the world from monsters, supervillains, and of course, your social justice warriors.  3 Arts is producing the series with 50 Cent who has teamed up with Anthony Piper and Jameel Saleem (South Park).

 


The Andy Cohen Diaries. 

Quibi has announced a six-episode order for a new animated series inspired by Bravo’s Andy Cohen entitled The Andy Cohen Diaries. The series is an animated retelling of Andy’s life featuring stories that have been made public and a bunch that have not been.Topics for his stories include celeb encounters, behind-the-scenes at some of the ridiculous talk shows he’s hosted, and being a dad. Most Talkative Productions and Shadowmachine will be producing the series.
