French animation studio Bobbypills is currently in production for a slew of animated series that are coming soon to audiences in the United States by way of the streaming app Blackpills.
Right now, Vermin is the one most likely to stream first with an April release date with the others coming this Summer, but of note is two series coming from producers of the Mondo Media series Lastman that is currently streaming all 26 of its very good episodes on VRV. For example, Crisis Jung features a few producers from Lastman most notably Jeremie Perinwhom first told us about the upcoming series earlier this year. Another series PEEPOODO & THE SUPER FUCK FRIENDS is being created and written by Lastman co-writer Balak.
All series will be dubbed for English and I’m told the series will have episodes that range in runtime from two to 10 minutes and the studio remains ambitious with plans to release an additional three to four series a year targeted towards adults. Blackpills has a deal with Vice networks to potentially broadcast these series, but no air dates have been announced and probably wouldn’t be until after the programming has streamed.
