CW Promos Two-Hour “Vixen” Event
And why this is important.
Wednesday, August 30th starting @ 8 pm ET/PT, CW will be featuring a two-hour event that will be the worldwide broadcast premiere of CW Seed’s Vixen.
Originally from Africa, Mari McCabe’s parents were killed by local greed, corruption, and wanton violence. But the orphaned Mari refuses to succumb to the terrors surrounding her. Inheriting her family’s Tantu Totem, Mari can access the powers of animals-anything from the super-strength of a gorilla to the speed of a cheetah. As Vixen, she fights valiantly to protect the world from threats like those that claimed her family.
The importance of this event? CW Seed will be the first broadcast network to feature a prime-time animated series that ISN’T comedy in decades. Hopefully, the ratings will be good enough that it will inspire other networks, cable or otherwise, to do the same.

Just cancel this bird already. The chicken is beyond cooked. It's burnt to a crisp.
