Comic Con 2017: TBS Releases Clips For New And Returning Shows ; Final Space Announces Full Cast
There was a notable absentee, however.
I kinda wish TBS had put a little more effort into promoting its new properties at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. While sister network Adult Swim and Cartoon Network’s properties are literally hanging from the rafters here, TBS really just has this panel and then a solo American Dad panel. What we DID learn is that we’ve got returning programming on the way in the form of American Dad which kicks off new episodes next Monday @ 10 pm ET. Noticeably absent, Louis CK and Albert Brooks for The Cops.
Fortunately, we DID get a bunch of clips which includes the aforementioned American Dad, and the upcoming 2017/2018 animated programming slate featuring the likes of Close Enough, Tarantula, and two clips just for Final Space, one of which features the announcement for the full cast:
American Dad
Tarantula
Prime-time animated series Tarantula revolves around the residents of the Tierra Chula Resident Hotel (aka “The Tarantula”). It centers on Echo Johnson, a respected but uncertified tattoo artist who delivers absurd yet introspective monologues. Echo’s poetic ramblings spin tales of misadventures with the other residents, as they partake in party crashing, dumpster diving and other socially dubious acts of mischief.

Final Space
Part of TBS’s continued push into animation, Final Space is a serialized intergalactic space saga about an astronaut named Gary and his adorable, planet-destroying friend, Mooncake. The series will follow their adventures as they embark on a quest to unlock the mystery of “Final Space,” the place where the entire universe ends.

Close Enough is a surreal take on transitioning from 20-something to 30-something. The show centers on a married couple juggling such everyday challenges as parenthood, friendship, ham theft, stripper clowns and choosing the right day care.
Just cancel this bird already. The chicken is beyond cooked. It's burnt to a crisp.
