Original Seeso Programming Like Harmonquest – C & H Could Be In Jeopardy Of No Additional Renewals

What the hell is this?

In news that sucks the big one, Evan Shapiro is leaving NBC-owned streaming service Seeso, and we could eventually be seeing an elimination of the streaming service altogether. The home to such animated fare as Cyanide & Happiness, Harmonquest, and Gentlemen Lobster, multiple outlets like Vulture and Variety are reporting that at best, the future of Seeso will be that of off-network content as aired on NBC, but that the network has plans to launch its own original streaming service similar to what CBS has now so even that might not happen.

What’s worst yet is that the original programming for the network is now officially up in the air in terms of future prospects on renewal. While we know that Harmonquest is coming later this year, franchises like Cyanide & Happiness have only shown half of its most recent season, so we don’t know if more of either will be shown after 2017 concludes or at all.
