Let’s Meet The Members of Rooster Teeth’s “Sex Swing”

If you try Googling “Sex Swing” at work, you’re gonna have a bad time. So, we’ll do the heavy lifting for ya and prep you for Rooster Teeth’s upcoming new series by introducing you to the characters and seeing if we can’t pick up any clues from our first impressions of the characters.

This is Jamez the Ripher. Lead guitarist of Sex Swing, and according to Rooster Teeth, “He puts the sex in Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll. ” I’m hoping we don’t hear any terrible British accents given the flag sticker on the guitar, and the moniker inspired by one of Britain’s greatest folklores. Christ knows we have enough of those.

Tommy Steale is evidently a “man of action”. Not sure what that means, but he’s definitely the muscle of the group thus far. Other famous “Tommy’s” in music include Motley Crue’s Lee, the famous album “Tommy” from The Who, and Tommy Thayer the current guitarist for KISS.

Tha is the youngest member of the band but is a burnt out rock star. He also sports a rainbow on his guitar which could mean something, but I want to investigate further before I make any determinations.

Not to be confused with the 80s sitcom, Punky Brewster, Spunkie is the kind and sensitive member of the band which isn’t normal when you deal with lead singers. Featuring a bow tie on his mic stand, and sparkles on the mic shaft, Spunkie appears to be the more flamboyant with his stage presence. We’ll have to see if this bodes true as time goes on.
