English Dub Review: Interviews with Monster Girls “Snow Woman-chan is Cold”

Don’t be so cold.

Yuki and Tetsuo are in session, and the majority of the bit revolves around the bio teacher figuring out the workings of a Snow Woman which is what he classifies Yuki. To help Tetsuo’s fears of being able to touch other people, he performs an experiment and learns that Yuki experiences a cold sweat that then creates ice particles, but there isn’t enough to completely freeze a large mass of anything. And despite the fact that she gets a bit TOO defensive about Tetsuo wanting to run more tests on her particles, Yuki takes the news really well and decides to enjoy her social life a bit more with both friends and potentially a new boy in her life.

Our Take

An important episode as Tetsuo is on a roll with his breakthroughs with each of the demis with this one being possibly the most apparent breakthrough. That said, I’ll be curious to see how these new relationships develop for Yuki and what kind of further tests that Tetsuo wants to run on his subjects. I think Tetsuo’s relationship with the demis got a little odd when everyone was talking about how they are being addressed, but clearly the last 8 or so minutes was a bunch of filler anyway. Good episode nonetheless. It’s one of those, “alright, everyone’s done…now what?” type of deals.
