Preview Pics And New Synopsis For “Imaginary Mary” Released

No “Mary” pics.

No premiere date/time just yet, but ABC has released a bunch of new stills for its upcoming live-action/CGI-animated comedy “Imaginary Mary” starring Jenna Elfman in the lead role as “Alice” playing opposite a CGI animated character named “Mary” voiced by Rachel Dratch.

The show’s official synopsis reads as:

Alice (Jenna Elfman, “Dharma and Greg,” “Friends with Benefits,” “EDtv”) is a fiercely independent career woman whose life is turned upside-down when she meets the love of her life – a divorced father with three kids. This, triggers even more, upheaval when the slightly unhinged imaginary friend she created as a child suddenly reappears to help her navigate the transition from single girl to a woman ready for a family.

Oddly enough, none of the preview pics presented feature “Mary” and this could prove rumors true that ABC wanted the pilot to be retooled a bit and do some alterations of the CGI character which is the reason why the premiere was pushed back AND the number of episodes ordered shortened.

You can watch a trailer for Imaginary Mary here, but expect to see a slightly modified “Mary” when the next teaser comes about.
