TBS Picks up “Final Space” to Launch in 2018!

Sci-Fi animated comedy continues to stay hot!

Olan Rogers, Conaco, and New Form are teaming up with Studio T to produce a brand-new animated comedy called Final Space.

According to Deadline.com, Final Space is a serialized intergalactic space saga about an astronaut named Gary and his adorable, planet-destroying friend, Mooncake. The series will follow their adventures as they embark on a quest to unlock the mystery of “Final Space,” the place where the entire universe ends.

Our Take

I think the big thing to take away from this show’s pitch is that it is a “serialized” comedy, which is different from most fanfare on basic cable save for maybe South Park. The series joins American Dad! and the recently announced TBS series Tarantula. Check out a teaser for the series below which is set to bow in 2018 only on TBS.
