Coming this November, celebrate the end of the year’s long fight between red states and blue states and pick up Red vs Blue Season 14! The fourteenth season of the longest web series ever (of all time) will finally be available for home media for its longest season yet! This year, the Rooster Teeth crew took a more experimental approach: Instead of the multi-season story arcs and continuing the tale of the Blood Gulch crew, we’re treated to over two dozen crazy interpretations of the show that brought us together through standing and talking about one of life’s great mysteries. And the Halo game footage didn’t hurt.
Along with former showrunners Burnie Burns, Matt Hullum, and Miles Luna, this season also includes stories written and directed by several amazing creative forces! An epic live action movie trailer by the king of online explosions, Rocket Jump’s Freddie Wong! Two titanic Freelancers finally duke it out, courtesy of Screw Attack’s Death Battle! A story about movie night getting out of hand, from the mind of best-selling author Ernest Cline! All this and more from Game Grumps, Funhaus, Barbara Dunkelman, Shannon McCormick, and many more untold tales across the RVB timeline AND BEYOND!
In addition, this season comes with many entertaining and informative special features. This season uses the series’ benchmark Machinima technique across multiple Halo games, stop-motion, 2D and 3D animation, and live action, so go behind the scenes to learn what makes animating in each game so different, how they made the stop-motion episode and movie trailer, the creative process for the three mercenary-themed episodes, and what would happen in a real life if you tipped over a Halo Warthog, along with a look back on all the important cast, crew, and fans that this many seasons would not be possible without.
