South Park co-creator becomes part owner of the UFC

Well, if you’ve got it flaunt it, amirite?

Deadline.com is reporting that South Park co-creator Trey Parker has become a minority owner in UFC after the fight organization’s recent $4 billion sale to WME-IMG.

Trey, along with a slew of other celebs like Mark Wahlberg and Ben Affleck, certainly bolsters the celebrity roster that is now available to parade around to whomever is interested. What IS cool about this, is that Parker can probably use UFC logos and such in future episodes of South Park without any pre-written approval.

UFC is super good, but, has it jumped the shark? I think Zuffa LLC sold at exactly the right time to be quite honest.
