Review: Wander Over Yonder “The End of the Galaxy”

With a secret planet being the only one of it’s kind left in the entire galaxy, Sylvia leads a rag-tag group of rebels to stop Lord Dominator once and for all. Meanwhile, Wander wants to see why Dominator is evil in the first place, and heads to her ship to try and see if he can talk some sense into her. Of course, Wander fails miserably and only succeeds in giving away the secret locale of the rebels.
That is until Lord Hater, Commander Peepers, and the Watchdogs show up to help the resistance in their battle against Dominator and boy does Hater DESTROY Dominator. The bitch’s army, ships, everything is destroyed, but is Dominator just lonely? Wander thinks so, but she heads off, and Hater goes back to chasing Wander.
Our Take
Boy, is Wander just completely aggravating this season, and now it’s over. I was ready to slam this episode, too….BUT Lord Hater’s epic battle with Dominator was awesome, and quite possibly the best produced bit of this show’s entire run. I’ll go into more detail in the show’s season review wrap next week, but overall, Wander Over Yonder’s second season could’ve been a LOT cooler, and this episode is proof of that. Get rid of Hater chasing after Dominator, and we could’ve had a few more of these.
Do we know if Hulu will be the only entity to have the dub, or if it will be on other platforms, too? The show in general is definitely going to be on multiple platforms.
