Shorts Review: RWBY Chibi Episode 3

This was another 3 min and 10 second video. but surprisingly had more dialogue…

“Jaune Calls Weiss”

The Skit it starts out with what seems to drag abit is a running gag that Jaune likes Weiss as he starts to subsequently make a series of phone calls trying to get the “Hook-up” and many of his calls progressively becoming more frustrating because she isn’t responding back.

The frustration reaches a “boiling point” when Jaune is about to give her a verbal 3rd degree voicemail until Weiss shows up explaining she lost her scroll. (The cellphones in this universe)

When Blake finds it, He feverishly destroys it to make sure Weiss doesn’t check her voicemail and tries to casually leave like nothing happened.

While I get the comedic punchline, it felt like I was watching a bad “Regular Show” episode. (And to me the bad ones often involved Margaret who’s mere existence brings out the worst in the people around her.)

“Reloading”

In another random skit, Ruby is trying out different types of ammo for her Crescent Rose gun.

Only for a “Gravity” Dust bullet to make her cartoonshly fly back via-recoil.

 

 

“Blake Tag”

Yang tries to play Tag with Blake only for her to cartoonishly fail miserably when Blake uses her “shadow-clone-jutsu” Semblance to screw with Yang. 😛

“Blake Vs. Zwei- Part 2.”

Ruby & Yang’s Dog Zwei goes into the dorm kitchen looking for something and when he leaves it reveals that Blake was cartoonishly frozen in their freezer.
