Spoilers Below

The Belcher kids have been playing “goop” pranks on each other. They spread goopy substances on various objects in an attempt to get the others to touch it. Gene gets grape jelly on his ear when he answers the restaurant phone; Tina gets hummus on one hand when she opens the refrigerator then toothpaste on the other hand when she picks up a towel to wipe off the hummus. Bob gets “Teddy Glued” to the restaurant toilet on the day he is supposed to be interviewed by Coasters magazine. “Teddy Glue” is a substance Teddy invented that is stronger than super glue. It can only be removed by nail polish remover. But there is too much butt and hair for the remover to work properly. Louise calls Dr. Yap, the dentist, to help. The only timely solution he has is to pull Bob off the toilet with a rope. But that doesn’t work either. By this point, everyone in town has shown up to see Bob stuck on the toilet. When the guys from Coasters show up, they get Bob angry enough to rip himself off the toilet. Thanks to a speech from Louise, the interviewer puts a piece about Bob in the magazine, even though he said he wouldn’t. Now tons of people will show up to the restaurant just to ask Bob about being stuck to a toilet. Win?

As always, Bob’s Burgers takes a concept and makes it much funnier than expected. The best part is the duet between Bob and Louise. Bob sings about nothing good ever happening in a bathroom while Louise’s part focuses on not blaming her for the situation. Absolutely hilarious. Let’s not leave out Linda, though. She insists that Bob can still do the interview from the toilet. She even goes as far as to have Gretchen come into the bathroom to fix Bob’s hair. Anything to promote the store. If only Bob was as dedicated as his wife.
